Barry is incredible! I absolutely hated driving before I started with him - I cried during every lesson, had such awful anxiety surrounding driving and just found it the worst part of my week. When I started with Barry, he immediately made me feel safe and calm, and I actually started to look forward to lessons (this was a big deal for me)! We went at my pace, even when Barry knew that I could do more, and I found that even when it came to my test, I was surprisingly calm. Couldn't recommend him enough, especially for anxious drivers like myself.

Barry is a very patient and understanding instructor. Getting in the car with him was very relaxed, but at the same time extremely controlled. He has a great way of explaining and enforcing effective driving techniques, and his sense of humour and calm demeanour helps put you at ease and remember the techniques. I highly recommend him to anybody wishing to pass their test.

Barry truly is the best driving instructor anyone could ever ask for. I switched to him after months of hating driving lessons and them being a source of considerable anxiety. Lessons with Barry were always calm and stress-free, and I eventually began to look forward to them which I never thought was possible! Never would have been able to pass without Barry, can't recommend him enough!!

Barry taught me how to drive, can't recommend him enough for the help, lessons are fairly priced and as well as being a great instructor who can help you get out of bad habits that I may have picked up from learning without an instructor and just my parents at one point, teaching me road safety in detail as well as unique ways of learning to do certain driving techniques, he's also a really nice guy which is a plus! Great for young drivers like myself as I've been through a couple of driving instructors previously who don't bring the same amount of energy Barry does! I passed second time with his help, first time was down to my own faults, but he helped me correct those within a week and I had my test booked and ready to go the week after and I passed with very few minors! I have kept safe on the road since, with no issues so far after 2 and a half months of driving so I would say hes done a great job.

Had Barry for about 5 months and never had any problems. Couldn't have asked more from a driving instructor. Very friendly and was really good at explaining things in detail to the point where you fully understand it and won't get it wrong again. Played the entire role to get me a pass 1st time with just 1 minor so as an instructor was definitely one of the best around. Would fully recommend to anyone who is looking to start learning.

Barry taught 2 of my children how to drive and will be teaching the 3rd one. They wouldn't have passed without him. He also gave my daughter refresher lessons which helped her to pass her ambulance driving test. I have already recommended him to several of my friends.

I cannot thank Barry enough! He is a brilliant driving instructor and very friendly! He is passionate about his job and pupils and puts time and effort into his job. He is always early and very patient. It is not just about teaching you to pass your test for him it is about teaching you to be a safe independent driver in the future!
